Goal of FCS Program:
The goal of the Family & Consumer Sciences Program is to improve the quality of life for individuals and families. We address the challenges of critical issues affecting people's daily lives in a changing environment. Programs focus on economic, social and physical well-being of our clients. We strengthen personal and family relationships, ecourage healthful choices, and identify resources to extend income.

Taking Time for You Leader Lesson:
Monday, March 20th at 12 noon, presented by Benita Peoples, Harrison County Family and Consumer Sciences Agent. Life is busy. As a result, you may neglect your own well-being, which can lead to stress, irritability, moodiness and even depression. This lesson focuses on how proper self-care, such as sleep, nutrition, physical activity and low stress, can help improve mood and daily productivity; help you feel more relaxed and content; and feel stronger and more confident.
