Join us Monday, September 11, 2023 anytime between 4:30-7:30 p.m. for our first 4-H Night!
- Learn what clubs and activities Estill County 4-H offers
- Talk to club leaders and learn more about their plans for the program year
- Talk to 4-H Council members and learn how to get involved as a volunteer
- Youth can make a project they can enter in the 2024 4-H Expo
- Get your photo taken by a 4-H Photography Club member
- Parents/guardians can sign youth up for some (not all) clubs
- Grab a snack while you are here (hotdogs, chips, cotton candy, popcorn, nachos and cheese)
- Register for one of our door prizes while you are here
Estill County 4-H Night will be held at the Estill County Extension Office, 76 Golden Court, Irvine, KY 40336.
How can Extension better serve Kentucky?
Kentucky Cooperative Extension Service recently launched a statewide survey with hopes of reaching thousands across the Commonwealth. In fact, our last survey received more than 38,000 responses, and we want to see that number grow.
Knowing what matters to Kentucky means our services will matter to Kentucky. You might already know about our educational programs for agricultural production, youth development, nutrition, business development, and family finances… but our outreach has grown even more. Our last survey led to partnerships with nationally recognized experts and new services in areas such as:
· Addiction Intervention & Prevention
· Small-Town Tourism & Art Revitalization Programs
· Rural Mental Health & Suicide Prevention
· Natural Disaster Preparedness
And this is only the start for what’s ahead. With more direction from you and others in our community, we can continue real work that matters to real people. People like you.
We hope you’ll take our ten-minute survey found at go.uky.edu/serveKY and encourage others to do the same. We want to hear from all Kentucky citizens ages 18 and up. Every voice matters.

Bat House Family Night Workshop
Monday, October 30th beginning at 5:30 p.m.
*Limit of one bat box per family.
Learn the importance of bats as pollinators, build a bat house, and enjoy some tasty treats during this family night!
To sign up call 606-723-4557. Limited spots available. The Bat House Workshop will be held at the Estill County Extension Office, 76 Golden Court, Irvine, KY.
